Her head dropped. "My lord, I can feel your p-"
"I'm perfectly fine."
She hesitated a moment. And then queitly disappeared.
Ten minutes later he came up to the drawing room.
"Fritz?" he called out.
"Yes, master?" The bulter seemed please to hav been summoned.
"Do you have some red smokes on hand?"
"Of course."

Sorry, it's probably not the best few sentences to get you into the book. Maybe the next book will have a better sample.
